Camila Cabello, singer/songwriter, was born March 3, 1997 in Havana, Cuba. When she was about 6 years old she moved to Miami, Florida with her mom to pursue a life with more chances and opportunities. Growing up, Camila Cabello loved singing karaoke and looked up to artist like One Direction. She began making youtube covers and for her fifteenth birthday auditioned as a solo-artist for a show called the X Factor. She made it through the first round, but was later eliminated. The judges decided she, as well as a group of others, were too talented to be eliminated, so they were brought back to the stage. Camila and four other girls (Dinah Jane Hansen, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke, and Lauren Jauregui) were invited as a group to the judges house. They only had a few days to rehearse and understand each others unique voices. When the day came to perform, they did their best and made it through. They ended up winning 3rd place on the show as Fifth Harmony.

Throughout the years, Fifth Harmony began touring the world and came out with many major hits that topped charts. They were one of the most successful girl groups of all time and had an amazing fanbase, called Harmonizers, all over the world. After 4 and a half years of being in the group, Camila Cabello decided to leave the band to become a solo-artist. She wanted to write and create her own music and in Fifth Harmony, she did not feel that freedom. A little over a year after leaving the band, she came out with her first solo album titled ‘Camila’. Currently, she is on her ‘Never Be The Same tour’ going around countries to perform her new songs. Her album ‘Camila’ went platinum and the camilizers, her fan base name, couldn’t be any prouder.
