If you didn’t know DMHS is having our annual Harvest Festival on Monday, October 31, 2016 (a.k.a. Halloween)!!! If you’re wondering what Harvest Festival is about, click the link below to read a spectacular article written by the one and only Andrea Aguilar.screen-shot-2016-10-27-at-8-14-25-am

This year the Japanese Culture Club (JCC) is selling dumplings (vegetable and chicken flavour) as well as making origami hearts, skulls, and ghosts. JCC will be demonstrating how to make the origami as well as aiding you along the way so don’t worry about not having experience: you won’t even need it! Although none of them would truly be considered difficult, these are how they rank in difficulty level (1 being the highest and 3 being the lowest):

  1. Heart
  2. Ghost
  3. Skull

So come to JCC’s booth not only for some delicious dumplings but to learn the art of origami as well. Hope to see you there!
