BTS also known as Bangtan Boys or Beyond The Scene, is a South Korean boy band. They are a total of seven group members: Rap Monster, Jimin, V, Jungkook, Jin, J-Hope, Suga. The group released their second album, ‘Wings’, which in 2016 was Korea’s best selling album of the year. Their most popular songs include, but is not limited to: “Blood, Sweat, and Tears”, “Spring Day”, “Not Today”, “Fire”, etc. Their album Wings had the highest first-month sales in Korea’s history. Albums have been stood to countries that do not primarily talk or understand Korean. In the US, the WING album hit No. 26 in 2016, the best position ever earned by a K-pop album. During the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, they beat four global pop’s artists: Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Shawn Mendes for Top Social Artist. BTS’s group award follows PSY’s Gangnam Style, the first K-pop solo artist, to win the Billboard Music Awards back in 2014. BTS fans are known as the “A.R.M.Y.” (Adorable Representative M.C’s for Youth”) which was voted on by Twitter and on other award websites for BTS to win the award, using the hashtag #BTS BBMAS, which was used more than 300 million times.
